Holy crap, I haven't updated this in forever!

Weird. There was a time when my dependance on xanga was borderline unhealthy. Well... maybe not so borderline...

I'm in Thailand! Again! Carol didn't let me see the kids, and I'm debating sending her an email I've written to burn the bridge once and for all and maybe bring myself some closure. I'm here for ten more days, six of which will be in chiangrai, three in chiangmai and three in bangkok. That... doesn't add up to ten. I'm not going to try and figure out what went wrong there.

So... news.... finished my first year of uni. Passed all my classes (take THAT genius brother!) and am somewhat excited about next year, though schedule clashes mean I can't take the classes I really wanted to see. Been dating thomas for over three months now, so that's good.

I'll be headed to kuwait to visit the parents for a few months soon. So... yeah.

not sure what else there is to say. Xanga, consider yourself updated.

Ok, so the most embarrising thing that's happened to me lately.... I've got to say it somewhere because it isn't enough for me, apparently, to be embarrassed once... I have to relive in. :) In tutorial today, I put forward a theory that a kid in the story could have been sexually abused, and it was pretty unanimously shot down. Makes me sound a bit like I've got my mind in the gutter, doesn't it? So yeah. I knew it was the a stretch, but I don't think it was that much of a stretch, and my other points were valid either way, so there.

*breathe in, breathe out.*

Ok, that was all. I don't write in this much anymore, do I?

It's not that often that I really, truly, honestly miss things. I get nostalgic a lot, but there aren't usually particular things that I used to have that I wish I still did (with th epossible exception of my car.)

That said, today I really, really miss the punching bag I had in high school. Enough said.

Updating! Shocking, I know.

When you don't update for a long time, you end up not sure what to write because there's a heck of  a lot that has happened since the last update, but to put it all out there would take pages and pages and pages, and most people what would read it have already heard it. So yeah.

I guess I'll just say that the family has come and gone. School starts up again tomorrow and I'm not even remotely prepared. I've seen a bit of Thomas over the break, so that was good. Dinner with the family and the flatmates and felicity's fam was awesome. In waitomo, there was black-water tubing. In the bay of plenty there was a helecopter ride to a volcano and horseback riding, and lots of time alone with the beach.

So yeah, I've been good. Though I am dreading tomorrow and the start of school. Argh.
